This 2-bedroom suite is for a non-smoker adult (say 30 +). The apartment is pet and party free as they are not allowed. If you like true quiet and truly clean this is the suite for you. If two adults take the suite the rent is $930, versus only $895 for one person. It is almost fully renovated and
must be seen. The best features, besides being modernized, is its easy access because it is on the lower level near the laundry room and adjacent to the landlord. There are four security features that we explain on viewing. The windows are extra large and in mid-September they are being replaced with new modern windows which will complete the modernization.
The apartment building is landlord-occupied. This 2-bedroom suite will be available on or before October 1, 2016. The
suite is 700 sq. ft., on the lower level, faces east and south (a corner suite with cross ventilation). We have huge spruce trees. The suite comes with modern vertical blinds. The
appliances are newer and modern: fridge, range, dishwasher and air conditioner. All electrical fixtures have been upgraded: ceiling lights, kitchen fan, wall
plug-ins, light switches, wall thermostat, intercom and smoke detectors. All
plumbing is modern, single Moen taps and the heating system has been upgraded.
The bathroom has been totally renovated to include modern lighting and a
medicine cabinet as well as an over-john for those with lots of personal
hygiene products. There is a newer 6-litre toilet.
There is a large storage closet just
off the entrance. The carpets are good quality Burber. There is an outside
parking stall with power for your vehicle.
The upgraded laundry room on the lower level has 2 washers and 2 dryers and
they are $2 per load. As well, the boiler and water heater are newer. Heat and
water are included in the rent. Tenants pay for power and select either Telus
or Shaw Cable for TV and internet services. We are centrally located, just far enough
from the city downtown to be quiet, and yet have great access to major routes
in all directions.
All suites are usually limited to only 1 adult who wishes to live in harmony with other
nice adults. The damage deposit is the same as
the rent; sorry, no exceptions. Our initial lease is a 7-month, fixed term
lease but thereafter it is monthly. The security deposit ($895) is the same as
the rent with $500 required with your application and the balance upon
