Current Vacancies

Hi. We now (as of Feb. 12, 2018) have no vacancies, but do anticipate a vacancy either for occupancy April or May first for both a one and two bedroom suite.

All suites, 1 and 2 bedroom are normally only rented to a single non-smoking adult, although we will consider more than one resident but the increase in rent is $300 for each succeeding person. The apartment building has 18 suites and is smoker, pet and party free. If you like quiet and truly clean this may be the apartment for you. The rent and security deposit are both only $875. Seasonally, we may offer a conditional free month (first month and of course conditional on good behaviour), far less than a comparable condo. All suites are fully renovated to tenant satisfaction and must be seen. Besides being a modernized apartment building the lower and mid level suites are only either 7 steps down or up from the two entrances to the building. There are four security features that we explain on viewing. The windows are very large with modern blinds. Most of our two bedroom residents use the second bedroom for a hobby room, for exercising or as a guest bedroom.

The apartment building is landlord-occupied, rather rare in Red Deer. We have huge spruce trees. The suites come with modern appliances: fridge, range, dishwasher and an air conditioner. All electrical fixtures have been upgraded: ceiling lights, kitchen fan, wall plug-ins, light switches, wall thermostat, intercom and smoke detectors. All plumbing is modern, single Moen taps and the heating system has been upgraded. The bathroom has been totally renovated to include modern lighting, a low flush toilet, a medicine cabinet as well as an over-john for those with lots of personal hygiene products. 

There is a large storage closet just off the entrance as well as a large bedroom closet.. The carpets are good quality Burber. There is an outside parking stall with power for your vehicle.

The upgraded laundry room on the lower level has 2 washers and 2 dryers and they are $2 per load. As well, the boiler and water heater are newer. Heat and water are included in the rent. Tenants pay for power and select either Telus or Shaw Cable for TV and internet services. We are centrally located, just far enough from the city downtown to be quiet, and yet have great access to major routes in all directions. 

All suites are usually limited to only 1 adult who wishes to live in harmony with other nice adults. Our initial lease is a 7-month, fixed term lease but thereafter it is monthly (including the free months). There is a $500 deposit required with your application and the balance upon occupancy. “Thank you” for your interest.
