We are Terry and Betty, retired professionals and we live in and own a very clean and quiet 18-suite adult apartment building.  But before you read further, all suites and property are non-smoking and sorry, neither pets nor parties are permitted. We have three security features which we disclose during your viewing. The 2-bedroom suite will be available by May 1, 2012 but very likely beforehand.

This 770 sq. ft. suite is totally renovated, on the top floor (only 1 ˝ levels up from the entrance) and a corner suite (more windows). It faces north and east so it is the coolest and quietest suite in the building. The suite has very large windows and modern vertical blinds. It will show like a new condo.

The appliances are newer and modern: fridge, large stove, dishwasher and air conditioner. All electrical fixtures have been upgraded: ceiling lights, kitchen fan, wall plug-ins, light switches, wall thermometer, intercom and smoke detector. All plumbing has been replaced with modern single Moen taps and the heating system upgraded. The kitchen cupboards are all renovated.

The bathroom has been totally renovated to include modern lighting and a medicine cabinet as well as an over-john for those with lots of personal hygiene products. There is a new 6-litre toilet, new bathtub and tub-surround, sink, taps and flooring. Even the bathroom door has new hardware including stainless steel door hinges.

There are 2 bedroom closets and 1 large walk-in storage closet just off the living room. It has a 4’ x 12’ balcony. The carpets are good quality Burber. There is 1 outside parking stall with power for 1 vehicle, although sometimes we can arrange two stalls.

The upgraded laundry room on the lower level has 2 washers and 2 dryers and they are $2 per load. As well, the boiler and water heater are newer. Heat, water and garbage removal are included in the rent. Tenants pay for power (electricity) and usually select Shaw Cable for TV and internet services as their equipment is also modern. We are centrally located, just far enough from the city downtown to be quiet, and have great access to major routes in all directions.

 The suite is limited to 2 adults and only suitable for those who wish to live in harmony with other nice adults. The damage deposit is the same as the rent, sorry, no exceptions. Our initial lease is a 6-month, fixed term lease but thereafter it is monthly.  “Thank you” for your interest.
